OUR PHILOSOPHY
Educational Philosophy Statement
Children learn best through hands-on activities and meaningful experiences that allow them to actively explore their environment. Learning is not simply imitating others; it is the process of successfully doing and discovering for oneself. This requires active thinking, experimentation, and problem-solving to gain firsthand knowledge about the world around them.
To support this process, it is essential that activities be meaningful and relevant to each child. Young children thrive in environments that are child-initiated and child-centered, where their interests and developmental stages guide their learning journey. Our classroom will reflect these principles by incorporating developmentally appropriate practices aligned with the standards set by the California Department of Education, Child Development Division (Title 5).
We are committed to fostering an inclusive, welcoming environment where every child feels valued, respected, and supported in their growth and development.
